Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods and materials to designated delivery points in San Jose and surrounding areas.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are properly secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized van interior at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company safety protocols.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers during pick-ups and deliveries.
- Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the dispatch team.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift packages, stand for extended periods, and navigate various terrains.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety standards.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to follow a route efficiently.
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills.
