Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver goods to residential and commercial locations in San Francisco and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring all items are secured and protected during transit.
- Prepare and verify delivery documentation, including manifests and receipts.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Interact professionally with clients and resolve any delivery issues or complaints on the spot.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent non-commercial driver's license.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 3 years).
- Physically fit and able to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends as required.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
