Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing items.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems and route planning software.
- Interact professionally with customers during drop-offs and pickups.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain electronic or physical signatures.
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle mileage.
- Keep the delivery van clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
- Strong time management skills and punctuality.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
