Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials throughout Sacramento County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon receipt
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Assist with inventory management and warehouse duties as required
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Sacramento area roads and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for delivery documentation
