Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to deliver packages and freight to residential and commercial addresses in Portland and surrounding areas.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer signatures using handheld devices.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and handle inquiries professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a similar role.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of the Portland, OR area and navigation systems.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
