Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to residential and commercial destinations within the Portland metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling and organization.
- Interact professionally with customers, receiving packages with care and accuracy.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Update delivery status via mobile apps or logs in a timely manner.
- Handle basic inventory management and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial driving or logistics.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to lift boxes and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to navigate efficiently in urban environments.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
