Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and supplies to residential and commercial locations
- Plan optimized routes using GPS to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Portland metro area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient with GPS navigation technology
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
