Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vans on assigned routes in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper securing and handling of all items to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining signatures and checking inventory against shipping manifests.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, adhering to all company cleanliness standards.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies at all times.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and incidents immediately to fleet management.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients during the delivery process.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driver's license with clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of the Philadelphia area roads and geography.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and paperwork.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and late afternoons.
