Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials across NYC boroughs
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate route documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain electronic logs and delivery records using company systems
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class D driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and smartphone apps
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- NYC commercial driving permit preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings
- Pass background check and drug screening
