Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans to transport goods across Baltimore and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to meet delivery deadlines
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for inventory tracking
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- Strong knowledge of Baltimore city streets and Maryland highways
- Proficient with digital route planning and delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and mandatory drug screening
