Responsibilities
- Safe Transit: Operate commercial vans to transport goods to commercial and residential destinations within the Nashville metro area.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is road-ready and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load Handling: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of delivery times, mileage, and cargo manifests.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional service to clients and handle delivery inquiries with a positive attitude.
- Route Navigation: Follow assigned routes efficiently, using GPS and road maps to avoid delays.
Qualifications
- CDL Class B: Must possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and navigation systems.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
