Responsibilities
- Perform safe and timely local delivery and pickup of goods using company vans.
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper securing of items to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures upon completion of routes.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and cargo area at all times.
- Interact professionally with customers and handle inquiries with a positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or early mornings.
