Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver products and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring items are secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, adhering to all company appearance and maintenance standards.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure the safety of the driver, cargo, and the public.
- Interact professionally with customers, answering questions and resolving any delivery issues on-site.
- Complete and submit daily delivery logs, mileage reports, and vehicle inspection forms accurately.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies regarding route planning and time management.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine pre-trip inspections.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional overtime.
