Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and materials to residential and commercial locations
- Plan efficient daily routes using GPS navigation software to optimize delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metro area and surrounding regions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and drug screening
