Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for daily local deliveries and pickups
- Load/unload cargo with proper lifting techniques (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Communicate delivery status and delays via company systems
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with Wichita area
- Strong attention to detail and time management abilities
- Physical capability to lift packages and operate loading equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
