Responsibilities
- Operate commercial delivery vans (10-20 ft) to transport goods to residential and commercial addresses in Portland, OR.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all drop-offs, including handling payments and confirming delivery details.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, including interior and exterior cleaning.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety protocols.
- Submit accurate delivery logs and mileage reports daily.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly preferred; Class C with air brakes may be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a professional delivery or logistics capacity.
- Clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of the Portland, OR road network and local geography.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
