Responsibilities
- Safely operate 15-passenger or cargo vans for local deliveries within Fresno County
- Load/unload packages with proper lifting techniques and equipment operation
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork for each route
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes efficiently for traffic/weather conditions using GPS technology
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time delivery updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class C driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly with proper technique
- Strong knowledge of Fresno metropolitan area and surrounding communities
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Basic proficiency with mobile delivery apps and GPS navigation
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Flexibility for early morning start times (5:00 AM shifts available)
