As a Van Driver, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain, ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to residential and commercial customers in the Sacramento area.
- Load and unload merchandise efficiently using hand trucks, dollies, and proper lifting techniques.
- Verify delivery contents against invoices and obtain signatures upon completion.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Handle cash or digital payments accurately and process paperwork.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or equivalent valid driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory accuracy.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliable personal transportation to get to and from work.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
