Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vans to deliver goods to local and regional destinations in Oakland and the surrounding Bay Area.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring all items are properly secured.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and electronic proof of delivery records.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and drop-offs.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks before and after routes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a similar delivery or logistics role.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physically fit to lift heavy boxes and perform manual labor tasks.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with the Oakland area.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
