Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles (vans) to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are secure and protected during transit.
- Verify delivery orders for accuracy and obtain customer signatures upon completion.
- Plan routes to ensure timely deliveries and adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Maintain a professional and clean appearance while representing the company brand.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding any delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Proven experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.
