As a Van Driver at Apex, you will play a crucial role in our logistics network, ensuring that packages and freight are delivered safely and efficiently to our valued customers.
Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of cargo to designated locations within the El Paso metro area.
- Loading and unloading freight, ensuring cargo is secured properly to prevent damage.
- Verifying delivery information and obtaining signatures upon completion.
- Inspecting the vehicle daily, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients during pickups and deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate records of delivery logs and mileage.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or van driver preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation and route planning software.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
