Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans and commercial vehicles on local routes throughout Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring packages are handled with care and accuracy.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery receipts in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to resolve any delivery issues.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is highly preferred.
- A clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency in English reading and writing.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
