Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and delivery vehicles on designated routes in the Sacramento metro area.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, handling interactions professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and paperwork.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging hours and handling digital paperwork.
- Must be willing to pass a background check and drug screening.
