Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods, parcels, and equipment to designated delivery locations throughout the Greater New Orleans area.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques, dollies, and equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and delivery receipts.
- Ensure the vehicle interior and exterior remain clean and organized at all times.
- Provide professional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong knowledge of New Orleans streets, traffic patterns, and local geography.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
