Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial cargo vans to deliver goods to residential and commercial locations.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring packages are secure and undamaged during transit.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in optimal condition.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and customer signatures.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving delivery issues professionally.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience in a similar delivery or cargo van role.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic computer skills for logging delivery information.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
