Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vans and box trucks to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring items are secure and accounted for.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures where necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle throughout the shift.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Complete daily logs and paperwork accurately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C CDL (or equivalent box truck experience) is required.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
- Must have a reliable vehicle for commuting to the terminal.
- Availability to work a full-time schedule, including weekends if needed.
