Responsibilities
- Operate commercial van vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery stops and handle inquiries professionally.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, receipts, and delivery records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Air Brakes endorsement.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience (preferred).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and handheld scanners.
