Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans and delivery vehicles for local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are securely fastened to prevent shifting during transit.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain accurate signatures upon completion.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Interact professionally with clients and stakeholders at each delivery stop.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience in a similar delivery or logistics role.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic proficiency with GPS navigation systems and handheld scanning devices.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to plan efficient routes.
- Must pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record review.
