Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and materials to designated locations within San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our digital tracking system
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery-related inquiries
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company delivery schedules
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize routes and ensure on-time performance
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and verify delivery contents
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience with commercial vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency with GPS navigation and smartphone technology for route optimization
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening (company policy)
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional weekends as needed
