Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring all items are secured.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Navigate delivery routes using GPS systems to ensure timely arrivals.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations).
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of the Austin, TX area and local traffic patterns.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
