Job Summary
As a Van Driver for Apex Logistics, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of packages and goods to our clients. You will represent our brand positively and ensure that every delivery meets our high standards of quality.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vans to transport goods to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing items to prevent damage.
- Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining signatures and maintaining accurate delivery logs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and recipients.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting packages weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems is a plus.
- Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if required.
