Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials throughout San Francisco and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Load/unload cargo with care, verifying quantities and condition of items
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt routes efficiently to avoid traffic delays and ensure timely deliveries
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle damage promptly
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of San Francisco streets and Bay Area geography
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for delivery verification and paperwork
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
