Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to transport goods and materials throughout Portland metropolitan area
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, and vehicle inspection reports
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Valid Oregon driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Portland streets and surrounding regions
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation apps
