Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods throughout Columbus metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly
- Load/unload cargo efficiently while ensuring proper handling of fragile items
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate delays proactively
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at delivery points
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols without exception
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and route navigation proficiency
- Pass background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and mobile apps
