Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely deliveries across Baltimore City and surrounding areas
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation software to minimize travel time
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking systems
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist with warehouse inventory management when not on delivery routes
Qualifications
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Familiarity with Baltimore street navigation
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle troubleshooting
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred but not required
