Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods and packages to designated delivery locations in and around Charlotte.
- Load and unload cargo using dollies, hand trucks, or by hand, ensuring items are secured properly.
- Verify delivery contents and obtain signatures from recipients.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the van.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred, but Class C with clean driving record is considered.
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of map reading and GPS navigation systems.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
