Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and materials throughout San Jose and surrounding areas
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using our proprietary tracking system
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve inquiries
- Plan efficient routes using GPS technology to optimize delivery schedules
- Handle fragile or high-value merchandise with specialized care protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class C California driver's license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience with vehicles under 10,000 lbs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of San Jose geography and Bay Area roadways
- Proficiency with mobile delivery apps and basic technology
- Pass background check and drug screening (mandatory)
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
