Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for local deliveries and client transport
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems to meet tight deadlines
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques to prevent damage
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic tracking records
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL license or clean Class C license with no more than 2 moving violations
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in using navigation apps and delivery tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with Austin metropolitan road networks preferred
