Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and goods throughout Sacramento County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures upon request
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo and ensure proper securing of items
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid California Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Basic knowledge of Sacramento area geography
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required
