Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Plan and optimize daily routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to schedules
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve delivery challenges and route adjustments
- Ensure proper loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment handling
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Houston area geography and traffic patterns
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for delivery tracking systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B preferred
