Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans to deliver packages and supplies across designated Boston routes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to ensure timely arrival and fuel efficiency
- Assist with loading/unloading cargo and secure items according to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Represent Urban Transit Solutions with professional conduct and positive customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience in urban environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Proficiency with GPS navigation systems and delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management skills with attention to detail
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of Boston streets and surrounding areas preferred
- Customer service experience with conflict resolution abilities
