Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vans in a timely and professional manner throughout the Colorado Springs area.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper handling of fragile items and heavy pallets.
- Maintain the vehicle inside and out, reporting any maintenance issues immediately to management.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations, including strict DOT compliance standards.
- Manage delivery logs and paperwork accurately, including proof of delivery and mileage records.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and drop-offs, representing Apex Freight Solutions professionally.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS systems to optimize delivery times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B license or equivalent commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no major violations within the last 3 years).
- Must be 21 years of age or older (Federal DOT requirement).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact politely with clients and team members.
- Reliable personal transportation to get to and from the depot.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
