Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to deliver goods to customers and businesses in the Fresno metro area.
- Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring all items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, timesheets, and delivery receipts for all stops.
- Provide exceptional customer service by interacting politely and professionally with clients at delivery locations.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent commercial vehicle operator's license.
- Achieved a clean driving record (MVR check required; no major violations).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly without assistance.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine vehicle checks and minor maintenance.
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Fresno, CA streets and traffic patterns.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check.
