Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vans for timely local and regional deliveries across Houston metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using digital tracking systems
- Load/unload cargo with precision and ensure proper handling of sensitive materials
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions and delivery confirmations
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Commercial Driver's License (Class B) preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience with delivery vehicles
- Strong knowledge of Houston metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and mobile delivery applications
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
