Responsibilities
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using hand trucks, dollies, and proper lifting techniques.
- Plan daily delivery routes to optimize time, fuel efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Deliver goods to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Fresno metropolitan area.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, paperwork, and proof of delivery signatures.
- Interact professionally with customers, resolving issues on the spot with a positive attitude.
- Keep the delivery van clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience driving commercial vans or box trucks.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong knowledge of local Fresno streets, geography, and traffic patterns.
- Basic computer proficiency for handling delivery management software.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
