Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vans to transport goods to designated destinations within the Detroit metro area and surrounding regions.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secure and protected during transit.
- Verify delivery manifests against cargo to ensure accuracy and complete paperwork.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the company vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Interact professionally with clients and customers during pickups and deliveries.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or Class B license with passenger endorsement.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Availability for a consistent schedule, including weekends if required.
