Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company van to transport goods to various local and regional destinations.
- Load and unload merchandise, ensuring proper handling and weight distribution.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and delivery receipts.
- Interact professionally with customers, handling inquiries and resolving delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver’s License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 7 years).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical issues.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Reliable access to a personal vehicle for commuting to the depot.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts and weekends as needed.
