Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vans to deliver packages and freight to designated locations in the NYC metro area.
- Load and unload cargo carefully to prevent damage, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling deliveries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals and minimize fuel consumption.
- Handle paperwork, including delivery receipts and logs, accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- A valid Driver’s License (Class C or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience driving commercial vans or box trucks.
- A clean driving record with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform physical tasks.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and smartphone apps.
