Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vans to transport goods to various customer locations in the Omaha metro area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring packages are handled with care and secured properly to prevent damage.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is in safe operating condition.
- Interact professionally with customers, verifying deliveries and maintaining a positive brand image.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, invoices, and digital paperwork using company tablets.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record (no DUIs within the last 5 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in commercial driving or logistics is preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of the Omaha, NE area and general navigation skills using GPS and maps.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Good communication skills and a customer-service oriented mindset.
