Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vans and cargo vehicles on assigned routes throughout the Milwaukee metro area.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, dollies, and proper lifting techniques to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Verify delivery addresses, obtain digital signatures, and maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any delivery issues with a positive attitude.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, cleaning, and minor maintenance checks before and after each shift.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record (no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in a commercial or delivery capacity.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and ability to navigate GPS systems effectively.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
